Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the RaveTickets platform as an organizer. If you buy a ticket instead, see the Ticket Buyer Terms.

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Service are an agreement between RaveDragons V.O.F., operator of RaveTickets (Maasdijk 169, 4827 MA Breda, Netherlands, KVK 42007416, BTW NL869257110B01), and the organizer that registers an account. By creating an account or selling tickets you accept these terms on behalf of your business.

2. The service

RaveTickets lets organizers create events, sell tickets through an online shop, scan tickets at the door, and receive payouts. Free tickets can be issued without a payout account; paid ticket sales require a verified Stripe Connect account (see section 5).

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your business.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the actions of everyone you invite to your team.
  • You must give accurate company, contact and tax information and keep it up to date.

4. You are the seller of the tickets

You, the organizer, are the seller and the party responsible for each event and each ticket you sell. RaveTickets provides the platform and facilitates payment; it is not the organizer, promoter or seller of your events and is not a party to the contract between you and a ticket buyer. You are responsible for the event taking place, for your obligations to buyers, and for complying with consumer law, including clear pricing and informing buyers about refund and withdrawal rights (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).

5. Payments, payouts and Stripe

  • Paid sales are processed through Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe's verification (KYC) before paid sales are enabled, and your use of Stripe is also subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
  • Ticket revenue is collected through your connected account and paid out to your bank account on Stripe's payout schedule.
  • Chargebacks, refunds and disputes are your responsibility. Amounts refunded or charged back to buyers, and any related fees, are borne by your connected account. When you refund an order, the buyer receives the full amount paid, including a booking fee and a payment method fee the buyer paid on top of the ticket price. That full amount is taken from your balance.
  • Reserve before the event. Until an event has ended, you can pay out at most 50% of the net ticket revenue of that event (ticket sales minus our fees, refunds and chargebacks). The remaining part becomes available for payout once the event has ended. RaveTickets may set a different percentage for your account. The reserve does not change the amount you are owed; it only changes when it can be paid out.

6. Fees

Our platform fee is EUR 0.49 + 2% per ticket, plus applicable VAT, unless we agree otherwise in writing. The fee is deducted automatically through Stripe. You may choose to pass the booking fee on to the buyer at checkout. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page, and every fee in detail on Pricing & Fees.

Our platform fee and any payment method fee are not returned when an order is refunded, whoever paid them at checkout. This applies to orders placed on or after 6 October 2026; for earlier orders, a booking fee and payment method fee paid by the buyer are returned to your balance on a full refund. If we cannot deliver the tickets for a payment, the payment is refunded in full and no fee is charged.

7. Taxes and invoicing

You are responsible for charging the correct VAT on your tickets and for issuing any invoice or receipt the buyer is entitled to. RaveTickets invoices you for its platform fee. As an EU platform we are also required to report seller income to the Dutch Tax Administration under the DAC7 directive; see our DAC7 Seller Reporting.

8. Resale

RaveTickets does not currently offer ticket resale between buyers. We are working towards an official resale partnership with TicketSwap; until that is live, any resale is at the buyer's and organizer's own risk and tickets resold through unofficial channels may be refused at the door.

9. Acceptable use and content

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. You keep ownership of the logos, images and event information you upload, and you grant us the licence we need to display and deliver them as part of the service. You confirm you have the rights to that content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your events. We can remove content or suspend an event that appears unlawful or in breach of these terms.

10. Data protection

Where we process ticket-buyer personal data for you, we do so as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. Our own processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance and may change or improve features over time.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RaveTickets is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost revenue, or for an event not taking place. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, poses a fraud or security risk, or where required by law or by Stripe. Obligations that by their nature survive termination, such as fees due, tax records and liability, continue to apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will make material changes clear, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection a buyer may have in their country of residence.
