Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for using RaveTickets. They apply to organizers and to anyone who buys or uses a ticket.
General rule
Use RaveTickets only for lawful purposes and in good faith. You must not use it in a way that harms the platform, other users, attendees or us.
You must not
- sell tickets for, or promote, an event that is illegal, or sell goods or services that are illegal or prohibited;
- use the platform for fraud, money laundering, or to evade taxes, sanctions or our fees;
- post event information, images or content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- misrepresent an event, its date, its location or what a ticket includes;
- resell or tout tickets outside the organizer's or an official channel, or copy, duplicate or share QR codes to gain or give unauthorized entry;
- abuse chargebacks or payment disputes, for example by disputing a legitimate purchase instead of requesting a refund;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorized access to the platform, the door-scanning system or our APIs, or interfere with other users.
Enforcement
If these rules are broken, we may remove content, cancel or suspend an event, suspend or close an account, refuse entry to a ticket, and, where the law or our payment partner requires it, hold a payout or report the matter to the authorities. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to permanent removal.
Notice and takedown of illegal content
Anyone can report content or an event on RaveTickets that they believe is illegal, including content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights. This is our notice-and-action mechanism under the EU Digital Services Act and Dutch law. Send your report to info@ravedragons.com and include:
- a link to, or clear description of, the exact content or event you are reporting;
- an explanation of why it is illegal and, for an intellectual-property claim, which right is infringed and confirmation that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that your report is made in good faith and is accurate.
We assess valid reports without undue delay and may remove or disable the content, keep it, or take other action. We aim to inform the person who reported it and the affected user of our decision and the main reasons for it. The affected user may object to a removal by replying to that notice, and we will review the objection. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly post illegal or infringing content.
